First hand quality that you can taste too– with our own farm at the ZapfenHof, our guests get to enjoy pure natural produce!
Since 1976 our farm has been constantly expanded. In the modern equipped stable buildings there is space for up to 50 of the best breeding cattle, and also numerous sheep and hens. Even since 1977/78 we have has our own butchers at the ZapfenHof, who only supply the very best quality for the food we serve.
Milk, cheese, butter, cream, quark cheese and the famous Zillertal Graukäse cheese are produced by us from silage-free, unpasteurised milk. We bake various types of bread fresh everyday and also make the pasta for our delicious pasta dishes ourselves. The hotel’s own patisserie tickles the taste buds of those who have a sweet tooth with the finest pastries, made according to traditional Austrian recipes.
